Full job description*IT Service Design Lead (Contract)
*Hybrid (2-4 days/month onsite)
*£500/day (Inside)
*6 Months
We’re looking for an experienced IT Service Design Lead to take ownership of service design across a complex, outsourced environment. This is a high-impact role focused on shaping and assuring end-to-end IT services delivered in partnership with a third-party provider.
The role:
*Lead the design and implementation of IT service management processes.
*Define end-to-end service models across internal teams and third parties.
*Ensure outsourced providers deliver scalable, compliant service designs.
*Establish governance frameworks (SLAs, KPIs, OLAs) and service acceptance criteria.
*Support service transition into live operations and ongoing assurance.
What we’re looking for:
*Proven experience in IT Service Design within outsourced / managed service environments.
*Strong ITIL knowledge and experience designing core service processes (Incident, Change, Problem, etc.)
*Experience working with and holding third-party providers accountable.
*Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior level.
*Background in financial services or regulated environments is essential.
