Full job descriptionPSV Engineer
Location: kidderminster
Pay: £21.00 per hour
Shift: 06:00 - 14:30, any 5 days over 6
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections on the fleet
*Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs
*Prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA compliance
*Rectify defects identified through driver checks
*Support fleet availability through efficient turnaround of vehicles
*Maintain accurate records of work completed
*Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards
Requirements
*Full UK driving licence (Category B/B1 essential)
*Category D or D1 licence desirable (enhanced rate applies)
*NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle / PSV / HGV Maintenance
*Proven experience working on buses, coaches, or heavy vehicles
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Good understanding of DVSA regulations and MOT preparation
