Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are looking for compassionate, motivated, and resilient Support Workers to join a supported housing team. You will work with vulnerable adults including individuals experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health challenges, young people and victims of domestic abuse.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals to build independence, improve wellbeing, and move towards stable and positive futures.

Key Responsibilities*Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs
*Support residents with independent living skills, budgeting, appointments, and daily routines
*Build positive professional relationships and promote engagement with support services
*Carry out support plans, risk assessments, and wellbeing checks
*Encourage residents to achieve personal goals and maintain tenancy agreements
*Work collaboratively with external agencies including mental health services, probation, social services, and substance misuse teams
*Maintain accurate records and case notes
*Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times
About You*Experience working in supported accommodation services, providing support to vulnerable adults or young people is essential.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
*Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
*Basic IT and report writing skills
*A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve positive outcomes
*Holds an enhanced DBS and a UK driving licence with access to a car.
