We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business seeking a motivated and commercially minded Sales Engineer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is looking to develop a career in sales, account management, and customer relationship development within the engineering and manufacturing sector.
The Role
Working closely with both existing customers and new business opportunities, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting customers with engineering-related solutions.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote working with time spent at the company’s office in Hemel Hempstead.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing and developing relationships with existing customers
*Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
*Supporting clients with product and technical enquiries
*Working closely with internal engineering and commercial teams
*Building long-term customer partnerships
*Providing excellent customer service and account support
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
*Exposure to the engineering or manufacturing sector through:
*Mechanical Engineering qualifications or degree, or
*Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or aftermarket environment
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A proactive and customer-focused approach
*Previous sales, account management, or customer service experience would be beneficial
*Alternatively, a strong interest in moving into a customer-facing sales role from an engineering background
