Job Description:
Full job description Morgan McKinley is partnering exclusively with an acquisitive Manufacturing business based in South Bristol, to recruit a Financial Controller.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will manage and lead the Finance team and function, and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, with an opportunity to get involved in strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
*Financial reporting and regular cashflow forecasts
*Lead and develop the finance team
*Oversee the month-end process and ensure strong internal controls are in place
*Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
*Statutory reporting and support for year end audit process
*Manage cash and account for inventory, stock and assets
*Lead key projects, and participate in producing and implementing the 3-year business plan
The Person
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with the ability to convey financial information clearly to senior stakeholders and non-finance people.
You will have previous experience of leading a small finance team, and enjoy a hands-on financial management role where you can drive financial performance while also supporting strategy as part of the SLT.
This role requires you to be in the office 4 days per week with some occasional travel.
