About the RoleAs the Commercial & Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving store performance through effective marketing, promotions, supplier relationships, and sales strategies. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a small business environment and can manage multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and manage marketing campaigns to increase store traffic and sales
*Manage the store’s social media pages and online promotions
*Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing where appropriate
*Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
*Organise in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and community events
*Support stock planning and promotional pricing strategies
*Create marketing materials including posters, flyers, and online content
*Help improve customer engagement and loyalty
*Analyse customer trends and competitor activity
*Work closely with the store owner and team to support daily operations
Requirements*Previous experience in marketing, retail, sales, or commercial management
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Creative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas
*Good understanding of social media and local marketing
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
*Customer-focused with a positive attitude
*Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools
Desirable Skills*Experience working in a small retail business
*Graphic design or content creation skills
