Are you a passionate ecologist looking to take the next step in your career? An established and forward-thinking environmental consultancy based in Sheffield is looking for a dedicated Ecologist to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, from residential developments and infrastructure schemes to nature recovery and biodiversity net gain strategies.

As an Ecologist, you’ll be responsible for;
*Conducting protected species and habitat surveys (e.g. bats, GCN, reptiles, badgers)
*Producing high-quality technical reports including PEAs, EcIAs, and management plans
*Supporting the delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
*Liaising with clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders
*Supporting junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For;*A degree in ecology or related environmental discipline
*Consultancy experience (or demonstrable equivalent)
*Strong report writing and survey skills
*Knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation
*Ideally at least one protected species licence (or working towards)
*Full UK driving licence
