My client is a small, boutique accounting firm (5 members of staff) that provides a personalised, client-focused service to a broad range of businesses, from start-ups to established companies.

Part Qualified Accountant
Full Time (Flexible, hybrid working)
Salary (Depending on Experience – up to £40k)
The position
*The role involves supporting the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and management information for a portfolio of clients, while continuing professional studies (ACA/ACCA). This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive, client-focused environment.
*Prepare year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
*Post and reconcile journals, accruals, and prepayments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*At least 2 years of experience in general practice accountancy, including bookkeeping and payroll services.
*Comprehensive and up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
