We have a fantastic opportunity that is ideal for somebody who is passionate about working with young adults in a college based near Sheffield, a place where you can make a real difference and have a truly lasting impact.

Experience

We are looking for somebody with previous experience working with (SEN) students inside an educational setting. Preferably LSA/TA and care support experience dedicated towards young adults as many of the students may display complex learning needs and difficulties such as but not limited to :



· (ASD) Autistic Spectrum Disorder

· (SLCN) Speech, language and Communication needs

· (SEMH) Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties

· (ADHD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder




Key Responsibilities

· Academic Support: Help students understand course materials, assignments, and practical tasks in classrooms or workshops.

*SEND Implementation: Deliver tailored support in line with student Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
*Independence Building: Encourage students to manage their own learning, time, and social interactions.
*Collaboration: Work closely with tutors, lecturers, and the additional learning support team to track student progress.
