Job Description:
Full job descriptionResponsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a local company who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team due to business growth.
**Due to location, own transport (including car, moped, motorbike or push bike) will be required as there are no public transport links**
Monday to Friday working 12:15 - 20:15. Initial training will be on a 08:00 - 16:00 shift.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working alongside the rest of the warehouse team, reporting into the Warehouse Manager. This is a very active role with heavy lifting involved using manual handling aids.
Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include (but not limited to):
*Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
*Carefully load, unload, and move heavy goods, including sofas, ensuring safety and efficiency.
*Move pallets as required throughout the distribution centre.
*Receive and sort customer returns.
*Pick goods according to order specifications, preparing them for shipment.
*Label goods accurately as required.
*Scan materials into and out of locations in line with company procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
Warehouse Operative Experience and Qualifications:
*Able to handle and move heavy goods safely.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
*Good understanding and experience working with warehouse management systems.
*High level of accuracy.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Proactive with a flexible approach to work.
*Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards.
