Full job description Teaching Assistant – Wimborne
Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? We’re working with a welcoming school in Wimborne seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping to support their academic, social, and emotional development within a positive and nurturing school environment.
The Role:
*Full-time position, 5 days a week
*Starting September
*Supporting pupils within the classroom and during structured activities
*Working with pupils with SEND on both an individual and group basis
*Supporting pupils during teaching sessions and midday breaks
*Helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment both indoors and outdoors
*Working collaboratively with teachers, senior leaders, and support staff
About the Role:
You will support the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in promoting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development through tailored support programmes and positive relationship building. The role involves helping to provide a stable, caring, and supportive learning environment where pupils can achieve their full potential and continue to develop personally, socially, and academically.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
