We are partnering with a fast growing business recruiting a recent or upcoming graduate to join the finance team in Trainee Management Accountant role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career in finance, with full support to study towards the CIMA qualification.
The Role
Reporting into the CFO and Financial Controller, duties include:
*Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
*Assist with financial reporting and analysis
*Learn and apply double-entry bookkeeping principles
*Work with internal stakeholders across the business
*Contribute to month-end processes and reconciliations
*Develop knowledge of accounting standards, requirements, and policies
Person
Education*A 2:1 or above in Accounting & Finance (or a related degree)
*Strong technical understanding of accounting principles from your degree
Academic Background*A Levels: Minimum AAB
*GCSEs: At least 8 grades 6–9, including Grade 7+ in Maths and English
Experience*Some prior experience within a finance function (e.g. placement year, internship) is desirable
Additional Requirements*Ambitious and motivated to build a career in finance
*Committed to studying towards the CIMA qualification
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Excellent communication and a proactive mindset
