High Wycombe | Start Date: September 2026 | Full-TimeQuantum Scholars are working with a welcoming and highly supportive secondary school in High Wycombe to recruit a passionate Teacher of Science for a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher who is eager to make a positive impact within a thriving school community.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential. The school is looking for a teacher who demonstrates high professional standards, strong subject knowledge, and confidence in using a variety of teaching and learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
*Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively
*Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best
*Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
*Uphold strong behaviour management standards
*Participate in school meetings, parents’ evenings, and wider school activities
Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
*Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
*Strong knowledge across Science disciplines
*Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*A passion for high-quality teaching and learning
*Strong communication and organisational abilities
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Availability to start in September 2026
*Full Right to Work in the UK
