THE ROLE
As the HGV Class 2 Recycler Operator, you’ll work as part of a two-person team delivering specialist drainage, jetting, and industrial cleaning services across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
This is a hands-on operational role involving the use of specialist vacuum tanker and high-pressure jetting equipment while maintaining excellent safety and service standards.
Responsibilities include:
*Operating Class 2 jet vac and vacuum tanker vehicles
*Using high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and maintain drainage systems
*Travelling to customer sites across the region as part of an operational team
*Carrying out inspections, diagnostics, and minor maintenance tasks
*Completing job records and operational documentation accurately
*Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks
*Maintaining high standards of health & safety and PPE compliance
*Supporting colleagues and contributing to team operations
*Providing professional customer service on-site
*Reporting equipment defects or site hazards promptly
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
*Full UK Class 2 driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
*Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
*CSCS card or willingness to obtain one
*Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
*Practical, hands-on approach to work
*Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*Basic IT and record-keeping skills
*Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
Previous experience within drainage, industrial services, utilities, waste management, logistics, operations, HGV driving, civil engineering, or military environments would be beneficial.
