This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing and fast paced business in a commercially focused Senior Management Accountant position offering broad exposure across finance, operations and strategic decision making.
The role will suit someone who enjoys getting involved in the detail whilst also partnering with senior stakeholders across the wider business.
What you’ll be doing:
• Producing monthly management accounts including P&L, cashflow and balance sheet reporting
• Providing insightful variance analysis and commentary to support decision making
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Tracking KPIs and developing dashboards and commercial reporting
• Business partnering with operational teams across the business
• Reviewing performance and identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Supporting appraisals for new sites, investments and commercial projects
• Reviewing processes and implementing efficiencies across finance operations
• Supporting month end, year end and external audit processes
• Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance across the function


What we’re looking for:
• Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong management accounts and commercial finance experience
• Good technical accounting knowledge including UK GAAP / FRS102
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Commercial mindset with a proactive and analytical approach
• Someone ambitious who enjoys improving processes and adding value
