Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a well-established accident repair centre.
This position presents a valuable opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals to work within a reputable organisation committed to high-quality vehicle repairs and a professional, friendly working environment.
Our client is looking for a dedicated MET Technician to enhance their team in Northfleet.
Benefits of a MET Technician:
*Competitive pay rate of £18 to £22 per hour, based on experience
*Full-time, permanent employment with consistent working hours
*Standard hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday – no weekends
*Optional overtime of up to one hour daily to increase earning potential
*20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
*Supportive team environment with flexible overrides if necessary
*Opportunity to work in a well-equipped, modern workshop
Duties of a MET Technician:
*Conduct repairs and maintenance as an MET Technician, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
*Diagnose vehicle faults and perform necessary repairs to various vehicle systems
*Adhere to manufacturer standards and workshop procedures
*Work effectively within a busy accident repair environment
*Ensure health and safety regulations are consistently observed
*Maintain high levels of professionalism and attention to detail throughout all tasks
Requirements of a MET Technician:
*Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role in vehicle repairs
*Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify faults accurately
*Knowledge of accident repair processes and vehicle diagnostics
*Relevant qualifications in vehicle repairs and diagnostics
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Flexibility to work additional overtime if required
