An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, professional and motivated individual to join our client as a Finance Business Partner. This role involves supporting senior management teams in all aspects of financial management, including significant restructures and business change.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Build strong relationships and work closely with senior management teams to support their portfolios and guide them in effective financial management.
*Influence, challenge and support management teams in identifying, managing and implementing change to improve financial performance and efficiency.
*Collaborate effectively with other Finance Business Partners to ensure a joined-up service to senior management teams.
*Actively participate and contribute to strategic management development, formulation of policy and business planning through the provision of advice and support in relation to resources, financial planning, reporting and control/audit issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Broad post-qualification experience in a senior financial role.
*Demonstrable range of significant financial skills and knowledge, preferably within a large-scale public or private sector organisation.
*Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting in a similar complex environment.
*Advanced Excel skills (such as Power Query, Power Pivot & Data Modelling and Advanced Formulas).
*Solid practical experience and knowledge of financial accounting systems.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
*Educated to degree level or equivalent.
*Hold accreditation to level 7 in the CIPFA Business partnering qualification.
*Knowledge and understanding of both private and public sector financial arrangements.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels within the organisation, tailored to differing financial skill levels.
