Full job descriptionWe are recruiting Claims Handlers to join our team.
This is a process driven role focused on progressing cases from inception to closure. You will be the first point of contact for new enquiries, taking full details, submitting applications, investigate and process case files to ensure each matter is complete, accurate, and ready to move forward within the claims process.
This role involves working with sensitive information, including material relation to historic abuse. It therefore requires professionalism, emotional maturity, sound judgement and a respectful approach at all times.
You will work within a structured environment under defined processes, using internal systems to manage and progress cases properly. You will also be expected to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, as part of maintaining quality across the life of a case.
Your Key Responsibilities:
*Take initial instructions from clients, ensuring high levels of empathy and client care are delivered at all times.
*Review newly onboarded cases for completeness, accuracy and progression readiness.
*Organize and structure case information within internal systems.
*Identify missing information, inconsistencies and evidential gaps.
*Prepare and send information requests, including DSARs and other evidence requests.
*Manage documents and maintain accurate records throughout the life of the case.
*Progress cases in line with internal workflows, solicitor requirements and operational standards.
*Communicate clearly with clients, third parties and colleagues where required.
*Ensure all activity is recorded accurately within company systems.
*Help ensure cases do not become delayed, incomplete or stagnant.

Experience as a paralegal, claims handler or in a similar case handling role would be highly beneficial.
Experience working with sensitive information, regulated data or vulnerable client matters would also be advantageous.
