A well-established hospitality organisation is partnering with NET Recruit to appoint a Chef de Partie on a permanent basis for one of its busy and highly regarded London venues.
This successful hospitality business is recognised for delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of venues. With a strong focus on fresh ingredients, culinary excellence and team development, the organisation provides a professional and supportive kitchen environment where talented chefs can continue to develop their skills and progress their careers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Chef de Partie to join a dedicated kitchen brigade, contributing to the delivery of outstanding food while supporting the wider team in maintaining exceptional operational standards.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
*Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within your designated kitchen section
*Ensuring consistency, portion control and presentation standards are maintained across all services
*Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
*Assisting with food preparation, mise en place and service readiness
*Operating kitchen equipment safely and ensuring all equipment is maintained appropriately
*Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
*Following and adhering to HACCP procedures and internal food safety policies
*Ensuring compliance with Environmental Health Officer (EHO) standards and all relevant food safety legislation
*Completing daily temperature checks, cleaning schedules and due diligence documentation accurately
*Assisting with menu development, seasonal menu updates and daily specials where required
*Contributing creative ideas for new dishes and menu enhancements
*Managing stock rotation, food labelling procedures and ingredient storage in line with best practice
*Maintaining detailed preparation schedules, checklists and section organisation
*Supporting the completion of deep cleaning and end-of-shift cleaning responsibilities
*Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
*Assisting with the development and support of junior chefs and kitchen support staff when required
What You Will Need To Apply:*Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or as a strong Commis Chef ready to progress into the next stage of their culinary career
*Experience operating within a fast-paced professional kitchen environment
*Strong knowledge of food hygiene regulations, HACCP principles and kitchen safety standards
*Food Safety Level 2 or Level 3 certification would be advantageous
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation standards
*Passion for fresh food, culinary excellence and delivering exceptional dining experiences
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
*Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
*Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to a collaborative kitchen culture
