Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator

to join a thriving manufacturing company based in Basingstoke due to business expansion. The successful candidate will be working alongside the purchasing and supply chain team.



Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Coordinator:

*Support the planning and coordination of shipments of machinery and spare parts

*Track shipments and help resolve issues

*Support export processes

*Assist with preparing and managing shipping documentation

*Working with production and stores team to ensure goods are prepared, packed and ready for dispatch

*Help maintain appropriate stock levels

*Liaise with sales to help manage delivery expectations






Requirements:


*Proven supply chain or shipping experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment

*Understanding of shipping processes, with an interest in developing knowledge further

*Strong organisational skills

*Confident MS Office user

*Experience with ERP/MRP software such as Sage or SAP is desirable

*High level of accuracy and attention to detail




The Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator Role:


*Starting salary of £29,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

*Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, flexibility for the right candidate

*22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

*Pension Scheme, Medical Cashplan
