Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 basic DOE + uncapped commission + benefits
An ambitious and fast-growing accounting and business advisory firm is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive continued growth across the UK market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional with a background in finance or financial services who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and working closely with SMEs and business owners.
The OpportunityYou’ll play a key role in expanding the firm’s client base by identifying opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and converting new business across accounting, advisory, and financial services.
The business prides itself on offering a modern, consultative approach — acting as a strategic partner to clients rather than just a traditional accountancy practice.
Key Responsibilities*Generate and convert new business opportunities
*Build relationships with SME owners and decision-makers
*Develop referral networks and strategic partnerships
*Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding
*Attend networking events and client meetings when required
*Work closely with leadership to support growth strategy
*Maintain a strong pipeline and achieve revenue targets
About You*Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
*Essential background within finance, financial services, accounting, banking, lending, insurance, or related professional services
*Strong relationship-building and communication skills
*Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach
*Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
*Strong networking, negotiation, and presentation abilities
