We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing construction team based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across a variety of civil engineering projects while working alongside experienced professionals.
You will support the delivery of projects from design through to completion, developing your technical, commercial, and practical skills within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects
*Support senior engineers with technical drawings, calculations, and reports
*Attend site visits to monitor progress and ensure works are carried out to specification
*Assist with site inspections, surveys, and data collection
*Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
*Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
Requirements
*Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
*Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software
*Placement year or internship experience within construction or engineering
*Understanding of UK construction standards and regulations (e.g., CDM)
