We are building something from the ground up.We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial CFO to lead the Finance function in a fast-growing, FCA-regulated lending business spanning motor finance and asset backed lending.
This is not a "reporting only" CFO role. You will build the finance function, shape the funding strategy, and sit at the centre of growth, regulation, and investor relationships.
SMF2 responsibility under FCA SM&CR applies.
What you’ll own*Build and lead the entire Finance function from scratch
*Shape financial strategy, planning, and performance
*Lead debt funding, warehouse facilities, and asset backed lending
*Own liquidity, treasury, and capital structure
*Deliver regulatory reporting and FCA engagement
*Build systems, controls, and scalable finance operations
*Partner directly with CEO, Board, investors, and lenders
What we’re looking for*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*15+ years senior finance leadership experience
*Strong background in lending (motor finance or ABL)
*Experience building finance functions in growth environments
*Exposure to structured funding or securitisation
*Comfortable in regulated, fast-moving businesses

*Strong on governance, regulation, and risk awareness
