Specialist Recruiters in Financial Services
Job Title:
IFA Administrator
Location:
Croydon (Hybrid working available – 2/3 days in the office per week following probation)
Salary:
£28,000 – £32,000 DOE
Benefits:
*25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Our client is an independent financial advice and employee benefits consultancy. They provide tailored financial planning solutions to both individual and corporate clients.
The business specialises in delivering high-quality financial advice across wealth management, pensions, investments, protection, and corporate financial solutions. They pride themselves on a supportive, close-knit team culture with a strong focus on client service and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide administrative support to Financial Advisers working with high-net-worth and complex clients
*Communicate with product providers to obtain valuations, policy information, and documentation
*Complete, check, and input client data accurately using Intelligent Office (IO) CRM system
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records at all times
*Prepare, check, and submit new business applications to providers
*Support the preparation of client review packs, reports, letters, and presentations
*Liaise with paraplanners and advisers to ensure all required documentation is in place
*Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails, calls, and post
*Arrange meetings and manage diaries/meeting rooms where required
*Print, bind, and distribute client documentation
*Ensure full compliance with AML, FCA regulations, data protection, and internal processes
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in an administrative role within financial services or an IFA environment
*Strong understanding of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection
*Confident using Intelligent Office (IO) – essential
*Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Good numeracy and literacy skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
*Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
*Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and providers
*Honest, trustworthy, and demonstrates high professional integrity
Desirable Skills:
*Experience working within an IFA or wealth management firm
*Familiarity with FCA regulations, AML requirements, and compliance processes
*Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Exposure to high-net-worth or complex financial planning cases
*Career administrator background within financial services
