Full job descriptionTrust Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the S72 area of Barnsley from September 2026 until December 2026 on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to step into a supportive school environment with a well-established Key Stage 2 team. The school is looking for somebody who can create engaging lessons, maintain high expectations, and positively contribute to pupils’ learning and development during the Autumn term.
The role will involve:*Full class teacher responsibilities within Year 5
*Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
*Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
*Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Working collaboratively with staff, parents and senior leadership
The successful candidate will:*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have recent experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 5
*Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Be passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
*Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
