We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. The role is critical in supporting the production of cell culture media andreagents, ensuring daily manufacturing targets andquality standards are consistently achieved.
Thisentry-level role provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to learn,develop, and gain cross-functional exposure within a fast-paced manufacturingenvironment.
Location Paisley - 102 Fountain Crescent,Inchinnan Business Park (On-site
Job Type
*Contract: 6 months (potential extension)
*Start Date: ASAP
Compensation
*Base Pay: £13.20 per hour
*Shift Allowance: +25%
Working Hours
*37.5 hours per week
*Rotating shift pattern:
*Early: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
*Back: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
*Night: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
*Support daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets
*Operate equipment and assist in maintaining efficient production processes
*Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
*Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
*Perform manual handling and repetitive tasks as required
*Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
*Maintain accurate documentation related to production and quality
Key Skills
*Strong attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Team collaboration and communication skills
*Willingness to learn and adapt
*Commitment to quality and safety standards
*Manufacturing environment with gowning requirements (PPE provided)
*Exposure to chemicals and hazardous materials (with safety protocols)
*Repetitive manual tasks and prolonged standing
*Rotating shifts (including nights)
