Full job descriptionForklift Truck Operator (Counterbalance)
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Location: Coalville
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shift Pattern: Alternating shifts - mornings and afternoons
NEW ROLE - A reputable manufacturing company in Coalville is currently seeking an experienced FLT Operator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operating a forklift truck safely to move materials around the facility
*Handling incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy at all times
*Organising and storing stock in line with internal systems and procedures
*Carrying out routine equipment checks before use and reporting any issues
*Following all site health and safety policies and guidelines
*Assisting with general warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Requirements:
*Valid Category B1 or B2 forklift licence is essential
*Previous experience working in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment
*Good knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Willingness to work rotating shifts and adapt as required
