We’re working with a people-first, high-service brokerage based in Birmingham, specialising in complex income and property cases. The business supports first-time buyers, investors, and clients who need a more tailored, thoughtful approach to securing the right mortgage and protection solutions.
They are now looking for a Client Services / Mortgage Administrator to work directly with the founder and become a key part of the client journey from initial enquiry through to completion.
This is a hands-on, high-trust position where you’ll be the right hand to the business owner and play a central role in shaping the client experience.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day client journey, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and with a personal touch.
Key responsibilities include:*Acting as a key point of contact for clients, lenders, and advisers
*Managing inbound enquiries and guiding clients through the process
*Booking appointments and managing diaries
*Keeping CRM systems fully updated and accurate
*Chasing documents and ensuring compliance requirements are met
*Progressing mortgage and protection applications from submission to completion
*Handling sensitive financial information with complete confidentiality
*Supporting general operational and administrative processes
About YouWe’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering an excellent client experience.You will ideally be:*Warm, personable, and confident communicating with clients
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Proactive, reliable, and able to take ownership
*Calm under pressure and solution-focused
*Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team environment
Experience in mortgage administration, financial services, estate agency, PA/EA work, or high-end customer service would be beneficial - but strong transferable skills are just as important.
What’s On Offer*Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)
*Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
*Office-based role in Birmingham (B31) - this role has the potential to become hybrid after the probation period.
