About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a caring and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Redhill area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a classroom setting.
The successful candidate will work alongside teaching staff to help ensure all pupils are able to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
*Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND where required
*Encourage participation and engagement in learning activities
*Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
*Support behaviour management in line with school policies
Person Specification
Essential:
*Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A patient, caring, and supportive approach
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Desirable:
*Experience supporting pupils with SEND
*Knowledge of the UK education system
