Overview
We are partnering with a growing global PE firm to recruit a talented and qualified accountant into their UK Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting the delivery of all core Business-as-Usual (BAU) finance activities across the UK entities.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly trial balances, management accounts, and month-end MI reporting packs
*Support the preparation of quarterly group reporting submissions and Board packs
*Prepare and submit quarterly regulatory returns for regulated entities
*Assist with statutory financial statement preparation and year-end audit processes
*Manage treasury-related activities, including:
*Cashflow forecasting and liquidity management
*Invoicing and payment processing
*General Partner share management
*Debt facilities, drawdowns, and intercompany loans
*Coach and support junior finance team members to ensure high-quality BAU delivery
*Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of financial reporting controls and processes
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
Candidate Profile:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
*Minimum of 5 years’ finance experience, including approximately 2 years post-qualification
*Prior experience within a corporate or investment management environment preferred
*Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS, UK regulatory reporting, and statutory financial statements
*Experience preparing management accounts, trial balances, and month end reporting
*Experience reviewing statutory accounts and supporting audit processes
*Familiarity with SAP and Concur is advantageous
*Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
*Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach
