Full job descriptionService Service is recruiting for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor on behalf of a growing technical business based in Wymondham. This is a hands-on role overseeing warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics coordination within a project-led environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and delivery of equipment while supporting process improvements and leading a small warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
*Supervise day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations
*Lead, motivate, and support warehouse staff
*Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements
*Ensure goods are stored safely and efficiently
*Maintain accurate stock records and oversee stock checks
*Manage loan equipment and supplier returns processes
*Coordinate deliveries using internal transport and third-party couriers
*Work closely with procurement and operations teams
*Support continuous improvement of warehouse systems and processes
*Report performance against KPIs to management
About You
*Previous experience within warehouse, logistics, or stock control supervision
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Experience using inventory management or ERP systems
*Confident using Microsoft Office applications
*Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
*Full UK driving licence
*SAP or Sage experience advantageous
*Experience with import/export documentation beneficial
