About the RoleVeritas Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in the Rossendale area to recruit an experienced and dedicated EYFS SEN Teacher for September 2026.
The school are specifically seeking a teacher with strong SEND experience who can lead and deliver tailored support for pupils within the Early Years setting who present with a range of complex additional needs.
This role would suit a passionate SEN practitioner who understands how to create a nurturing, structured, and highly adapted learning environment that enables children with additional needs to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver highly adapted teaching for pupils with a range of SEND needs
*Support children with:*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
*Moderate to severe learning difficulties
*Create a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
*Develop and implement EHCP targets and individual support strategies
*Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, parents, and external agencies
*Use a child-centred approach to remove barriers to learning and development

The Ideal Candidate*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Proven experience working within SEN/SEND settings

*Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs and differentiated provision
*Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
*Passionate about making a meaningful impact on children with additional needs
