We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of students and gain valuable experience in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:*Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects
*Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support learning
*Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials
*Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
*Support students with additional needs to ensure they have full access to the curriculum
The Ideal Candidate:*Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)
*Is patient, proactive, and adaptable
*Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Is passionate about education and supporting young people
*Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
