Full job descriptionVehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Trainer
I’m working with a training provider looking to add a Vehicle Mechanics Trainer to their Automotive team near Reading.
Open to both current trainers and experienced mechanics / technicians looking to move off the tools into education.
Duties:
*Delivering Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance training to apprentices
*Teaching both practical workshop and theory sessions
*Supporting learner development and progress
Benefits:
*Full teacher training and assessing qualifications funded/supported
*£43,000 starting salary rising to once qualified
*Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
*Modern workshop/training environment
*Not a term-time only role
Ideal background:
*Automotive / Vehicle Maintenance qualifications
*Strong hands-on maintenance and repair experience
*Good communication skills and interest in mentoring others
*Must be Level 3 qualified
