The London team works closely with international offices to advise leading private equity sponsors, corporates and management teams on sophisticated, high-value deals across sectors such as healthcare, AI and technology, earning a reputation for exceptional client service and responsiveness.
Description
The Paralegal will play a key role supporting a busy private equity transactions team on a wide range of corporate matters. Responsibilities will include:
*Assisting on cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and minority investments
*Supporting deal execution processes, including due diligence, document management and drafting ancillary documents
*Coordinating signing and completion processes, including managing checklists and closing bibles
*Conducting legal research and preparing internal summaries and client-facing materials
*Liaising with fee earners, clients and international counsel across multiple jurisdictions
*Supporting corporate governance and general company secretarial matters
*Maintaining transaction documentation and data rooms to a high standard
This role offers significant exposure to high-value transactions and the opportunity to work alongside leading private equity lawyers on complex deals.
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
*Previous paralegal experience in corporate, M&A or private equity (law firm preferred)
*Strong academic background with a law degree or equivalent qualification
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
*A proactive and team-oriented approach
*Interest in private equity and cross-border transactions
