People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Alfreton.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
This role will suit applicants looking for work as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Multi-Drop Driver.
Shifts:
24-hour operation – various shifts available
Rates of Pay:
• £16.90 - £19.79 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
• Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Complete loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects to management
• Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
Essential Skills:
• Valid UK Category C Licence
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience required
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes
• Reliable, professional and punctual
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of road safety and compliance
Desirable Experience:
• Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience handling large or bulky goods
• Strong customer service experience
Training Provided:
• Full industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
