Our client is a fast-growing maritime technology business at the forefront of sustainable shipping, developing innovative wind-assisted propulsion systems that help commercial vessels reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a growing business and help deliver projects from concept through to installation and operation. It is well suited to someone with a few years of relevant experience who brings strong technical understanding, good stakeholder and relationship management skills, and the potential to grow with the business.

*Good stakeholder management and strong relationship-building skills
*Proven ability to help deliver projects on time and on budget
*Strong organisational ability and structured thinking
*Clear written and verbal communication
*Confidence coordinating multiple stakeholders
*A proactive approach and comfort taking ownership of tasks
*Ability to create structure where none exists
*Comfort working with engineers, suppliers, and shipyards
*Ability to turn complex discussions into clear actions
*A pragmatic, solution-focused mindset
*Shipping knowledge would be of significant advantage
Desirable experience includes:
*Marine, shipbuilding, or offshore experience
*Exposure to manufacturing or fabrication environments
*Familiarity with project tools
*Experience in a start-up or fast-growth business
Role & Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will help ensure projects move forward at pace, with clear actions, strong coordination, and effective communication across all stakeholders, while maintaining focus on time, cost, and delivery. Responsibilities will include:
*Build simple, practical project plans from initial concepts
*Coordinate engineering, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver milestones
*Maintain clear task lists and ensure actions are closed quickly
*Identify risks early and escalate issues where needed
*Help ensure projects progress and take initiative on direction
*Prepare timelines, budgets, and progress updates
*Maintain project documentation and reporting
*Coordinate subcontract manufacturers, support providers, and suppliers
*Track progress and delivery across multiple workstreams
*Coordinate logistics, documentation, and supplier readiness
*Resolve delivery issues and communicate clearly with suppliers
*Attend technical project discussions and capture decisions and actions
*Help improve project delivery processes as the company grows
Why Join?
A rare opportunity to join a business developing real-world clean technology for the global shipping market. You will benefit from:
*Working on real engineering and operational challenges across shipyards, factories, and vessels
*Broad exposure across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and deployment
*High levels of ownership and responsibility within a growing business
*The opportunity to help scale an innovative clean technology company
*A strong pathway into senior project delivery, programme management, or operations leadership as the company grows
