We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Machinist to join our clients growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in both CNC and manual machining to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities
*Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment
*Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
*Select and install tooling, fixtures and machine accessories
*Load and run CNC programs to manufacture parts to specification
*Monitor machining operations and make adjustments where required
*Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments
*Troubleshoot machining and assembly issues with engineering and production teams
*Complete production documentation accurately
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
*Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives
Skills & Experience
*Minimum 2 years’ machining experience
*Experience operating both CNC and manual machinery
*Strong understanding of machine shop practices and machining techniques
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Strong communication and teamwork abilities
*HNC qualification or engineering apprenticeship desirable
