A well-regarded secondary school in Tonbridge is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their successful English department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students through engaging and creative lessons while maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour.
The ideal applicant will:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Have strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
*Be capable of planning and delivering engaging lessons to students of varying abilities
*Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
*Be committed to supporting students both academically and pastorally
*Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
