Position Overview
Seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing Building Services design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical design for a variety of exciting and challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
*Design and specification of electrical building services systems
*Produce detailed calculations using industry software such as Amtech, DIALux, Relux, Revit, and AutoCAD
*Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation
*Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of building services
*Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
*Ensure designs comply with current legislation, standards, and best practice
Key Requirements
*Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
*Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical building services design
*Proficiency with design tools such as Amtech, DIALux, Relux, Revit, and AutoCAD
*Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice
*Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE) desirable
*Full UK driving licence preferred
