Full job descriptionAre you a qualified accountant looking to further develop your business partnering skills within a supportive finance team? Do you enjoy combining strong management accounting with stakeholder engagement and commercial insight? Are you looking for an opportunity where coaching and development are genuinely prioritised?
An organisation based in Central London is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to progress from management accounting into a more commercially focused business partnering role.
The role offers hybrid working, with regular attendance in the Central London office.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Supporting a designated directorate with financial reporting and business partnering support
*Producing management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis for senior stakeholders
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
*Providing financial insight and commentary to support decision-making
*Building strong working relationships with budget holders and non-finance stakeholders
*Working closely with senior finance leadership to improve financial understanding across the business
*Supporting and coordinating the work delivered by finance assistants where required
The successful candidate will have:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally, although strong finalists may also be considered
*Previous experience within a management accounting or finance business partnering role
*A genuine interest in developing business partnering and stakeholder management skills
*Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with non-finance stakeholders
*Excellent analytical and Excel skills
*A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
