Salary: £34,000 - £40,000
Contract: Permanent | Full-time
An established asbestos consultancy with more than three decades of industry experience is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join its Basildon-based team. The company is well regarded for its high standards of compliance, quality-led approach, and commitment to long-term staff development, providing a stable and well-organised working environment.

Package & Benefits*£34,000 - £40,000 salary (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities*Undertaking Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264
*Identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials across varied site types
*Producing accurate, compliant, and well-presented survey reports
*Communicating professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues
*Managing workloads and project deadlines while maintaining technical standards
*Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance, and best practice
Candidate Requirements*BOHS P402 (or equivalent qualification)
*Demonstrable experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
*Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Full UK driving licence
