Location: Northwest
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 + unlimited optional overtime
Hours: 7am – 4pm Mon – Thurs with an early finish on Friday at 1pm


Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and diagnose faults across electrically powered equipment, including EV trucks and battery-powered handling systems.
This is a field-based role requiring occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
*Service and repair a range of electric trucks and lifting equipment
*Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics off-site
*Complete timely, detailed service reports
*Manage van stock
*Liaise with customers and provide technical recommendations
*Conduct LOLER inspections and thorough examinations
Requirements
*Proven field service experience with an electrical bias
*Strong mechanical and auto-electrical knowledge (AC/DC motors, handling/lifting equipment)
*Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment independently
*Full, clean UK driving licence
*Relevant technical certification
