An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in Medway.

This is the ideal role for an ambitious Semi-Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment, working with a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.

The successful Semi-Senior Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services whilst building strong client relationships and developing their technical expertise.

Key responsibilities include:
• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing management accounts and providing meaningful analysis to clients
• Liaising directly with clients to obtain information, answer queries and provide advice
• Supporting partner review processes with accurate and timely work
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and add value to clients
• Managing multiple deadlines effectively within a busy practice environment

What we are looking for
• Strong experience preparing statutory accounts
• Knowledge of personal and corporate tax implications arising from accounts
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations
• Experience using Sage, Xero, CCH and Excel preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
