HR AdvisorLocation: Ashford, Kent | Contract: Permanent | Pattern: Hybrid | Salary: up to £33,000 per annum
Are you a confident and pragmatic HR professional looking to make a real impact? We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting managers with expert guidance across a broad range of employee relations matters.
About the RoleReporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted partner to managers-providing high-quality, commercially focused HR advice while ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing*Acting as the first point of contact for managers on employee relations matters
*Supporting a wide range of ER cases, including:*Sickness absence (short and long-term)
*Disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
*Performance and capability management
*Flexible working requests and whistleblowing cases

*Attending formal meetings and producing clear, accurate documentation
*Managing absence tracking and supporting occupational health processes
*Building relationships with trade unions and employee representatives
*Delivering training and coaching to managers on HR policies and processes
*Contributing to continuous improvement of HR practices and policies
What We’re Looking For*CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or strong HR advisory experience
*Experience handling complex employee relations cases
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Confidence in coaching managers and facilitating training
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Experience with HR systems (such as iTrent) and working with trade unions is desirable.
