gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a QC Inspector to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City
Performance Objectives
*Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical sheets.
*Carry out dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
*Proficient in the use of handheld measuring devices including callipers, gauges,
*micrometres etc.
*Work to set daily targets.
*Record non-conformances in a descriptive manner.
*Signing C of C (training provided)
*Completing first off and final inspection
Person Specification
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an aerospace inspection environment
*Able to read and interpret engineering drawings & specifications.
*Use of handheld measuring equipment
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Knowledge of inspection processes and methodologies
*Knowledge of CMM
*Experience of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports
