*Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school team. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils with a range of additional needs, enabling them to access learning and thrive both academically and socially.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.
*Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities that cater to individual needs.
*Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies to support students’ learning and development.
*Support students in developing communication, social, and emotional skills.
*Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
*Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is preferred.
*Patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively.
*Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant are desirable but not essential.
