Full job descriptionSEN Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Hackney
Long Term – Full Time
PAYE only
We are searching for a passionate SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant who can engage, motivate and inspire young people with SEMH, ASC and additional learning needs.
This role suits teaching assistants who are resilient, reflective and genuinely committed to making education accessible for all learners.
The role involves:
*Assisting secondary-aged pupils in a specialist SEN environment
*Adapting the curriculum to suit individual learning styles and abilities
*Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and social development
*Embedding structure, routines and clear expectations
We’d love to hear from teachers who:
*TA Qualified
*Have experience in SEN, PRU or alternative settings
*Can confidently manage behaviour with patience and consistency
