Description
*Prepare and consolidate group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP
*Lead on month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes across the group
*Manage group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
*Support the preparation of half-year and annual reports for senior stakeholders
*Oversee and review statutory accounts for subsidiary entities
*Partner with and provide support to subsidiary finance teams, ensuring alignment with group reporting requirements
*Assist with the group audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
*Monitor and analyse group financial performance, providing insights and recommendations
*Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and compliance across the group
*Contribute to continuous improvements within the group finance function
Profile
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
*Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
*Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity environment
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
*Confident communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior management and subsidiary finance teams
Job Offer
*A competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
