Full job descriptionSenior Cost Controller – Brighton (hybrid) – Perm – up to £60K plus great benefits
A major infrastructure programme is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Controller to join a high-profile project team delivering complex, large-scale works.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys owning cost control, forecasting and performance reporting across major capital projects.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing project budgets, forecasts, accruals and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
*Producing detailed monthly cost and performance reporting
*Driving forecasting accuracy and cost analysis across the project lifecycle
*Working closely with contractors and external delivery partners
*Supporting change management, early warnings and compensation events under NEC contracts
*Collaborating with planning, risk and wider project controls teams
What we’re looking for:
*Strong experience in cost control on major infrastructure or engineering projects
*Excellent forecasting, reporting and analytical skills
*Knowledge of NEC contracts and change management processes
*Experience using cost management tools such as Prism or EcoSys
*Strong Excel capability and stakeholder management skills
*Professional accreditation (AACE, AcostE, AMP etc.) highly desirable
